A $1000.00 non-refundable deposit via cash, credit card or check is required to hold the reception hall on a specific date. In addition, a $500.00 non-refundable payment will be due 180 days (6 months) prior to your event. These deposits will be applied to your final bill. The remaining balance of the bill is due 7 days prior to the event payable with certified check or money order only. Please make all checks payable to Lakefront Palm Garden.
DAMAGE & LOST AND FOUND POLICY
You are responsible for any damages to the premises or to any of our equipment caused by you, your guests or any independent contractor (e.g. musicians) attending your event. Lakefront Palm Garden is not responsible for the loss of any items left on the premises prior to, during or after your event.
Any set up requirements for band/DJ or florist delivery can begin two hours prior to the function start time. Cake delivery can begin one hour prior to function start time.
The reception hall has limited parking space, but on-street parking is available.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE PRICING, TAX AND SERVICE CHARGES
All food and beverage prices are established in the enclosed package. Stated prices are subject to change due to market fluctuations. Prices are subject to tax, currently 6.1% and service charge, currently 18%. With the exception of wedding cakes, all food and beverages must be ordered through Lakefront Palm Garden. Due to strict food codes, any food ordered through Lakefront Palm Garden cannot be taken off premises after the event.
ROOM RENTAL AND MINIMUMS
Please contact the Lakefront Palm Garden office for our required minimum spending amounts. Minimum spending includes food and beverage, but does not cover service and tax. If minimum spending is not met, a room charge will also apply. Starting in January 2013, there will be a room charge of $1,000 above the food and beverage spending minimum.
If you wish to enhance your event with flower arrangements or special props, we will not permit the affixing of anything to the walls or ceilings of the hall unless prior approval is given by Lakefront Palm Garden. In addition, any candles that are brought into the venue must be self-enclosed.
You can self-check coats or arrangements can be made ahead of time for an attendant to be on duty. One attendant per 125 guests is highly recommended. There is a fee of $100 per attendant.
The final guarantee of attendance is due to Lakefront Palm Garden by noon, 10 days prior to the event. If your guarantee number is not received at that time, we will guarantee your original estimated guest count. Your final guarantee count is final. In the event your numbers decrease, you are obligated to pay for the amount guaranteed. In the event the numbers increase, we will do our best to accommodate the change depending on how much time prior to the event the information is received.
WEDDING CAKE CUTTING
Cake cutting and serving is included in all wedding packages if served immediately after dinner. If your wedding cake is served later in the evening, there is a $1.00 per person cake cutting fee, which includes coffee service. If a wedding package is not chosen then a $75.00 cake cutting and serving fee will be added to your total bill.
White linens are included in all packages unless otherwise noted. Colored linen napkins are available at an additional charge.
All personal items must be removed immediately following your event including special linens, centerpieces and other decorations.
Custom menus are also available.
Lakefront Palm Garden does not have any a/v equipment available.
Lakefront Palm Garden reserves the right to confiscate any carry-in alcoholic beverages. No coolers.
All guests, with exception to those cleaning up, will have to leave the premises after reception has ended.
